Hi, I am Mark Sweeney.

I am an international award-winning photographer living in Summerville, South Carolina. I have had the

pleasure of photographing the lives of thousands of people since 2007. The moments I capture hang on walls all over the United States and Canada, cherished by families and displayed by leaders of Fortune 500 companies, public figures, and professionals alike.

I am a member of Professional Photographers of America (PPA) where I have received dozens of awards. I earned my Master of Photography (M. Photog.) for excellence in juried photography, my Photographic Craftsman Degree (Cr. Photog.) for teaching hundreds of hours of photography courses, and my Certified Professional Photographer (CPP) designation. I am also a proud member of the American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP).

When I'm not capturing life’s spectacular moments, I can be found teaching at a local adult education center or spending time with my family at one of the many parks and beaches in the Charleston area.
